Nauru is a small island nation in the Pacific Ocean. With an area of 21 km², it is the smallest country on Earth. Nauru is also the only country in the world without an official capital. However, most government buildings are located in Yaren, which makes Yaren the de facto capital.
Nauru is a raised atoll on top of an extinct underwater volcano. Just one kilometer off the coast, the ocean depth already exceeds 1,000 meters.
Nauru is among the safest countries in the world.
The climate in the Marshall Islands is very consistent throughout the year. On average, temperatures are around 28°C per day with humidity just under 80%. The most rain falls from September to December.
That means the Marshall Islands can be visited year round.
